Boy, that's alot more T5 only setups than I thought. I have six IC overdriven T5's with Reefgeek reflectors. Three Blue+, two Aquablue and one GE6500k. Five foot bulbs on a six foot long 125 gallon.

Well, on my 135g I run a combo of a 400w MH 20k XM and a 175w 14K Blueline, plus a single T5 strip.
But on my 75g, I just run 6 normal output fluorescent tubes in shop light fixtures. This is a very effective and inexpensive set up for a medium light reef. Don't know why more people don't try it.
Oh, and here's a pic for the non-believers

250W DE 14K Phoenix in PFO pendants :o on Icecpas ballasts.

That's it.

115g long (6ft) Use halides only. 3x250w phenix 14k plan on adding 4x39w T-5HO for actinics.

my main Display is 4ft 150gal I have 4 4ft 110w VHO on icecap two 400w radiums on m135 s and two 4 watt blue LEDS for moon lights .....440w of Super actnic Rs I can see my teeth glow in the other room ...lol

I use (20) 48" T-8s overdriven to 55w each bulb. 6500k and actinic staggered throughout. It is a total of 1100w over a 250G 8' tank

Using a blueline 10k 250 now will be using a 400W 12K reeflux on the 118 when I set it up.

Hard to answer cuz I have 3 tanks with 3 diff. kinds of lighting.
20k MH on my nano
T5's on my 55 gal.
Pc's on my 150.

The T5's bring out the best colors in my corals.

180 gallon 72x24x24

3 x 250W 20K Radium mogul
1 x UV Super Actinic VHO
1 x UV Actinic White VHO

FWIW these VHO bulbs give me much more intensity on this size tank even though they are less efficient per watt than T5. Also I only have to replace 2 bulbs verses four that it would take to cover the same area with T5.

I am useing 2 250s 1 20k xm mag ballast and one 20k radium elec ballast mogul based bulbs then 2 48" super antic t'5s....

why the different halides I am testing to see which one I like better I have the other ballast already just want to know which way I want to go. so far both are the same IMO. just a little different in color x seems a little more white.

Whos got the best pictures to back up there lighting? My tank sucks no photo's here. Halide only by the way but the sucks part comes from a faulty refractometer. Getting better weekly.
