What type of LPS?

4 eyes for 40 bucks. Def a good buy. can't see the colors very well but even an ugly chalice with 4 eyes will cost at least 40 bucks. looks like a very nice piece though.

Kewl

It is orange red with bright yellow eyes.
I was wondering as I have a como reef with sps/lps and few sofies. I currently use 13k 2x250 MH/2x54 T5 and is time to replace the MH I want them grow but be bright as well. This bunch of zoa(think RPE) Shows off the 13k inability to realy "pop". Now I wanted someone' thoughts on 15k and 20k 250 MH. would the coral still grow and be more vibrant. Which will be the best combo of "pop" and growth.

Try radium 20k bulb.

Don't use a radium unless you have HQI ballasts. If your ballast is a regular ballast (ANSI M58) then it generally won't fire a radium right and you'll either have issues with the bulb firing at all, have weird color shifts, or not get a good life from your bulb. A downside to radiums is that they don't last as long since to give you the true radium effect, you have to overdrive them on the HQI ballasts and therefore they need to be replaced in a shorter time span (probably 6-9 months) than a regular MH bulb (9-12). From everything I've read and everyone I've talked to, you can't beat a radium for performance, but they are not cost effective, so if that is an issue, and I'm gathering it might be, it may not be the best bulb for you.

I know a lot of people who talk very positively about the phoenix bulbs, and they've started to make a 14k SE bulb in addition to their 14k DE's.

Reefgeeks has great service. I had bulbs arrive broken caused by UPS and they sent me new bulbs and took care of the UPS claim the next day. Great people to deal with. Joe

Yeah definitely a chalice. Like others have said before, as long as you didn't mind payin $40 for it then its worth it.
