I have only used CaribSea Arag-Alive in the past and I have some more lying around. I was looking at Tropic Eden Reeflakes and I wanted to see if anyone had input on what sub they are using.

I have heard good things. Have you tried TE before, do you think it's worth it?

I have heard nothing but good things. I like the size and look of it as well. As for whether or not it is worth it....I hope so. I had to wait a while before it was back in stock.

I'm using purple beach sand from a beach in ca. I know this is a controversial method. No issues, looks great wrasses love it.

I am pretty sure that Premium Aquatics is the only place in the States that carries it.

Tropic Eden for me.

Collin you should look into bimini pink its the same sand just bigger purple peices and has some bigger particles in it

I have marco rocks' sand. Its very.... cloud inducing even after rinsing it. But I love it. When I get fishies I'm sure they will make dust storms too

Tropic Eden for me. Make sure to get the reef flakes and not mini flakes. They are very fine

Caribsea aragalive hawaiian black. Besides the magnetic properties i love it.

What sand would work the best if I plan to set up an underwater waterfall?
