What type of worm?

A friend of mine pulled four of these from his sump. He was asking me what worm this is and TBH I don’t know either

I’m not sure if that’s a peanut worm I had already considered that and I didn’t think it was

I guess it could be but when I saw it the worm looked a little different than a bristleworm but who knows it may just be.

Looks like a chubby bristle worm to me but would need a closer pic

When they are taken out of the water they tend to get chubby like that.
They are harmless but a lot of folk like to remove them

I’m going to go with a bristleworm although I’ve never seen one this plump and thick. I’m guessing he might just be shriveled up

I’ve seen tons of bristleworms but never one shaped like this and that’s what threw me off.
