I have a spare light, it's a 24" 48W HO T-5 light (Caralife I think) and it has 2 bulbs. It came with a small, shallow (like 6" or so) frag tank that I bought, but if I were to use this over a 20L or a 29G standard, what types of corals would that sustain? I'm guessing at least some zoas and such, but what do you think about some LPS like Acans or brain corals? No go on nems, right?

I'd say that would be not optimal lighting for a nem. I dont have one and have no experience with them, but I have read that they like alot of light...

I think that's insufficient for anemone. You can grow pretty much any corals but SPS in the tank.

Ive seen very happy anemones at my LFS under Biocube Power Compacts.. Tank has been running with RBTAs and a pair of occelaris clowns for over 8yrs!
