I am looking for 2 wave makers for my infinia 190.5 150G I already have 2 mp40s. But I have some low dead spots at the bottom left and right corners I would like some flow in there.

What wave makers do you guys recommend for my tank? Glass thickness is 12mm. I was going with the nero 3s but I feel like i can’t justify the price for this wave makers as it’s only for a low spot area. I don’t know if you guys convince me I might. Unless you guys recommend me something cheaper, and functional for my glass thickness. And can cover that are. Thank you

I’ve got a couple Nero 3s too,. I love em but , yeah price. Look for Jebao, good price, performance.

Jebao slw 20 or 30

You'd probably only need 1 to cover the entire back of the tank.

As for wavemakers in general, think about what you need it to do. Is it just stirring the tank and running at a constant speed? Then a simple, probably much cheaper AC powerhead will work. Looking to move a large cross section of water? Then a gyre style is best. Wave action? Pretty much any modern powerhead will get the job done.

The only thing I’m worried with jebao is the comments on how bad the magnet is

Gyre type of wave maker ? They get rid of dead spots

I just bought 2 jeboa gyre 120's for my planet 150. 1 of my 2 wav gave out and I have an mp40.
No dead spots. I put them all on the back wall. Gyre in vertical on the ends pushing the back wall, wav/ mp40 18" in from the ends push straight out.

any jebao is a great pump

No issues with my jebao. No reason to be spending $$$$ on pumps. The SOW20 is a strong pump. Most recently, I added a gyre from them, and it’s really nice.

I know u have 2 more 40 but I have 2 more I’m selling $265 shipped
