I bought some coral the other day I when it arrived in the mail I floated it for about 30 minutes this is my first time to have SPSafter that I dripped it for about 1 hourthen I added about 15 drops of coral rx and let it sit for about 10 minutes with a small power head after that I rinse it in fresh aquarium waterthen I placed it at the bottom of the aquarium in the sand bed so that they could acclimate to the lightsthe next day this is what I found

Sometimes that just happens when shipping. For your first SPS I'd recommend getting a frag from a fellow reefer or your LFS and see how that goes. Shipping stress on frags requires a bit of experience to know what to expect and how to react.

Your coral RTN'd. Could be a number of reasons why. On my last coral shipment 2 out of 14 RTN'd.

Rapid Tissue Necrosis. Lots of people have had lots of success using many different techniques. I take new coral, temp acclimate for 20-30 min, dip it in coral RX. Then set it out on the counter for about 3-5 min then put it in the tank. This allows the coral to expel its water and take on your new water.
And Sorry to hear about your coral.
