What wet pump for salt mixing station

I have these 75g barrels for mixing salt water.
I’ve already ruined wp40 powehead and couple of pumps including mag3, rio and a sicce2.

What should I do or use for mixing salt in these
Barrels?

When I mix:
I first fill up with rodi
Once filled, I put in adequate amount of salt and then start the pump in there.

After a day of running constant, I put it on timer for 1/2 hr run every 6 hrs, to give some circulation.
This salt water now is used for slow continuous auto water change. About 5 ml per min.

I'd say a mag drive would be your best bet, curious as to how you managed to ruin one Lol I ran a mag 7 for almost 3 years without cleaning it once as my return.

I think you should start up the pump then add the salt, all that salt is gonna sink and then you have very high concentrations at the bottom when your pump starts. Probably this is causing some precipitation of calcium carbonate that is ruining your pumps. Curious if you have checked what the alkalinity and calcium is after mixing?

Personally, I start the pump and let the water get moving a couple minutes then start pouring the salt in over a couple minutes. Have a 3 year old mj1200 to do this, in a 20g brute

If you can go external I would do iwaki. Iwaki pumps were originally designed for the industrial chemical insustry and they can pump far more caustic solutions than we have around our reef tanks.

I picked a cheap ac pump that could double as my return in the event of an unexpected failure.

I've had the mag pumps impellers rust out using them for mixing. I'm now using Eheim and so far so good.
