What will battle my RBTA for space?

Hey guys and gals,

So I bought a RBTA probably a couple years ago now... now I have two and they are very large! Volleyball size.

I want to know what corals I can put near them that will keep the anemone's in check! Any suggestions?

They will win most of the time.What ever coral you put close will probably lose.

I believe a High Quality Scalpel and a desire to protect our wild anemones will keep them in check best. There is always reefers looking for RBTA.

I didn't say I didn't like it. I would just like to fill in the area around him and wanted to know what could co exist I guess

Pally's huh. I can do that. The Zoa's that it's touching now are closing up and aren't happy... maybe I'll give the pally's a try and see what happens

I think your best bet is to just try some soft corals like the one you have in the sand bed. Any sps or lps I put by my BTA eventually stopped expending completely or were injured by the tentacles of the anemone.

The RBTA was the biggest coral mistake ive ever made. It started at 1 and multiplied to 15. I was giving them away.
They also occupied the best location in my tank. After a few years id had enough and pulled them all out.

Its hard to say what corals will keep an anemone away I had some kind of paly on a rock I got that messed up my anemone pretty bad. It took almost a month to recover. Consider putting the BTA Anemones on a rock island as they dont tend to travel across sand. As long as they remain happy they will just move around the rock island. If they become unhappy they might will detach from the rock and float away. That risk comes with any anemone though.
