What will be your next addition?

Make sure you have a lid on that QT... those Diamond Gobies are jumpers. Egg-crate isn't enough... they can still get thru the holes...i lost 2 in quarantine! Put a small container of sand in the tank...it made my third attempt happy and he finally made it thru quarantine!

I run a glass top on my QT for jumpers and evaporation. Definitely should keep the little bugger in there. I’ll do the sand thing as well. Right now I have a container of sand in there for the Melanarus wrasse currently in QT that I’ll clean out for the new fish.

most likely a new leather

Hello,

Probably adding to my cuc also unless a gallon of draino works. (Yes I’m kidding lol).

I had a 3 pieces of 1/2" pvc pipe glued together to make a pyramid shape. My diamond goby took every bit of sand out of the container and buried that pyramid and then used it as his hiding place. He left a small hole so he could see out when it was feeding time. All day he would just keep moving the sand on top of the pyramid. I think this was what kept him happy and preoccupied from thinking about jumping.

It will be corals I just know it. There is always room for one more Zoa...

Reefapalooza coming up in a couple months--I'm sure I'll be picking up some coral. If the price is right on a Homewrecker, that is.

Or, if I see a blue star leopard and potter's wrasse at the same time at about the same size...

I have a yellow clown goby, redhead solon wrasse, and a baby onespot foxface in quarantine

Frags baby, Frags! Off to my LFS today.

I haven't added anything new to my tank in a year so it's a big deal for me - super excited.

I've had a lot of issues with livestock stress and death in the last couple weeks of trying to add new things. I have an acclimation box now that I hope will help keep newbies destressed before coming in. At the moment looking to get 3 or 4 chromies added, plus have a leather and some utter chaos zoa heads sitting on my DT's frag rack waiting to be glued.

What's the next livestock you'll be adding to your reef? Fish or coral (or other invert)? When do you think you'll add it?
I just added two fish, and currently have 7 more in quarantine waiting another 14 days go to into main tank :)
