What fish/inverts will breed and reproduce in the average reproduce?

Many fish and inverts will breed in a tank that has a favorable environment. As far as inverts go, the ones I know for sure that reproduced regularly in tanks I had before were Strombus, Stomatella, Cerith, and Trochus. As far as fish go, I had Bengai Cardinals and Clownfish that breed a few times in a previous tank I had. Of course, theres also other inverts popping up and reproducing, like spaghetti worms, bristleworms, astrea starfish, micro brittle stars. I’m sure there are more, those are just what came to my mind right away.

I have witnessed one of my hitchhiker feather worms spawn before. Invertebrates such as these and some anemones and snails will pop up in small numbers

Saltwater mollies will definitely produce in just about any tank!

I've had blue green chromis spawn , nassarius snails. If its in @Paul B tank it will reproduce. He must feed them aphrodisiacs

I think Paul B's tank has some kind of whimsically ancient beneficial residue or crazy microfauna diversity or something going on it :p I'm kidding, but.....I'm kinda not?

Seriously though, the guy does treat his fish like his children, diversity of diet, culturing live foods, fresh clams! and everything else he does.

I think that plays a big part in his critters always getting jiggy with it. lol

I have a pair of Blue Throat Triggers who try to bread every 3 months or so

Quite a few fish will breed in the aquarium. The problem is feeding the fry and getting them to a size where they can be used in aquariums. Most damsels breed in the aquarium but when the wild caught fish are so cheap, it is not possible to make money on captive bred fish unless they are sold at a premium.
