I am interested in getting something down the road for my Biocube 14 that my clownfish will host in...I got the ocellaris for the tank to cycle and it has been with me since....Any advice on what to get? I was leaning a multiheaded frogspawn, but I have been seeing mixed opinions on it. Toadstool leather was also on my list...Any advice would be great!

Well you have to make sure that you have a clown that will bond with something. A frogspawn or torch coral would be perfect but you have to be sure it will host!
I have had clowns who didn't host and now I have one who is hosting my torch coral. But if they are used to hosting they will host anything!

I can only give my experience (and do a small correction, which happens often; it's just semantics, but it's worth it):

The object of our choosing is the "host", whether it be an anemone, leather, etc.

In the past, I've had clowns hosted by a big feather duster, Tyree toadstool, any wavy euphyllia (which I think they can irritate enough to kill them), aptasia (that was a low point in my reefing career, lol), and of course, anemones :)

Put a could smaller options if you can fit/afford it, and give the clown time. I've always forced my clowns into a host by throwing them into the direction of the host ;)

My female hosts in this Lavender Mushroom. (Really bad cell pic)

Over the years, my pair of percula clownfish have hosted in many of my LPS corals; goniopora, alveopora, duncans, hammer, and torch corals.

The female prefers to spend her time in my ORA Red Goniopora.

While the male will take to my duncan corals.

When I had a RBTA, that was their preferred choice over any other host.
But I removed the RBTA as it was stinging too many of my nicer corals.
And the clownfish have readjusted to hosting in the LPS corals.

Mine is currently hosting a large welso. Brain. Even with a bubble tip 3 feet away, and a ton of euphyllias in the tank.

my guys love to host my frogspawn and at night one of the clown out of 2 sleeps in hammer coral....

My pair were hosted by the heater until they discovered the xenia coral. They almost snuggled that to death before they moved on to the finger leather. The leather doesn't mind, and they've been there ever since (7+ years now) and regularly lay eggs along the base of it.

I have a bubble tip anemone, but my male is all over my branching hammer, which doesn't seem to mind. I catch him eating off on it a couple of minutes after spot feeding it. Sometimes he wiggles his little tail in it, its cute! Lol any ideas as to why the chemistry between the two might have been better than with my BTA?

Ps: I got the male clown same day as my hammer.
Not sure if that matters...

I just got two clowns, I have a torch thats very small, should I try getting a nem if I want them to host something?

Ive had clowns before that would just host my magnet cleaner, they rubbed all over it. Never moved that magnet cleaner, was too cute.

Right now theyre hosting my powerhead, but theyve only been here a day im sure theyre still deciding.

I'm a newbie and I've been looking for something to host my future clown fish (I'm cycling right now). I had pretty much decided I would get a toadstool, but then you said a torch coral would work. How difficult is it to keep one? Would you recommend one to a beginner?

I have a Clarke Clownfish and he loves to host Anne...my pink anemone. In addition, he hosts a green carpet anemone. It is fun to watch both, but the cutest is the pink bubble tip. He even feeds the anemones, by dropping food on them. I have read posts that said to make sure the clown and the host are comparable in size.

Ive had a torch for a while and my clowns couldnt care less, it seems its kinda hard for them to get jiggy with euphyllia.

On another note my clowns are host the front right part of my tank. They LOVE that piece of glass.
