I got these two frags on Saturday and I'm curious about what they'll become. I have not the slightest idea what the first frag will end up as:

I think these may end up being Lunar Eclipses and either jokers or raspberry limeades...this is a terrible picture, I'll try to get a better one tonight.

yes, please keep us posted... I was going to guess Chameleon PE but even the green slit looks faded... should be a good surprise.. :)

Marvin what do you think about the second frag? I know the pic sucks...sorry...does anyone have any pics of a faded out lunar eclipse or RL/joker frag?

I was going to say Chameleon PE's, too. I had some that looked like that after putting them under the 250DE AB 10K's. Can't make out much on the second, though.

really tough to see but might even turn out to be Mellow Yellows..

where did you get them from?

what type of lighting do you have?

just a total guess......but i'm seeing a pink skirt, which tells me pink elephants. but i think i've seen some others w/ pink skirts on exoticreefs webpage.

Got them from a LFS in St. Louis. I have standard Nano cube DX lighting...PCs. They've been in my tank for a little over 24 hours.

Nice, keep us posted. I don't know why but even faded palys look cool to me. Plus, it's always cool to watch something change in the tank!

I got another shot of the jokers/LEs/? rock...this time it's top down. I'm beginning to wonder if there aren't three different kinds on this rock...

there are different morphs that came up this year that are on that kind of branch rock.. some that I've seen are:

- Lunar Eclipse
- Midnight palys
- Dungenous palys
- Joker palys
- Pink Elephants (2 morphs; one light green; one brighter green)

there might be another one or two but I don't remember the names but I know what they look like.. :)

i got a rock a few months ago, and it had jokers, lunars, and another type that is smaller than the jokers and a bit more olive colored skirt; they are on the left of the pic

Also an un-named pink skirt purple blue center paly.

Interesting...

I do have some Midnights, but the skirts are totally yellow with no pink.

I picked these up because there was a hint of pink, and I thought they might be something different.

They turned all pink in maybe 2 weeks. The Midnights I have stayed yellow, and I've had them for a longer time in the same tank.
