What food between the two I use would hurt the water chemistry more when uneaten? I use reef frenzy nano frozen and coral frenzy .5 pellets? I would like to know if I should use one more than the other. I usually feed small amounts every night and do it slow enough that my fish mostly eat it all. I currently alternate every night to give them variety but since I only have a 43 gal I gotta watch my waste. Thanks

Always pellets when compared to frozen foods. Frozen foods are largely made up of water where pellets are like weight gainers.

IMO , it’s incorrect to look at it that way. Like tank bolemia.
What you’re doing rotating thenfood is correct.
EVERY THING in the tank needs foods. Maintain a standard feeding schedule and amount , feed the fish healthfully, the bio filter will ramp up to meet the needs , balance what you put in with how you get it out.

I highly doubt most opinions on food and what it contains as they generally run contrary to published studies.

OP's original question was "What food between the two I use would hurt the water chemistry more when uneaten? Reef frenzy nano frozen and coral frenzy .5 pellets"

The answer to the question is pellets.

Nobody said rotating foods isn't what should be done, or that you should only be feeding frozen foods, but its widely known its better to overfeed frozen foods rather than pellets if you had to choose between the two.

We’re all entitled to opinion. That’s all good.

My opinion is neither. It’s food. It’s doesn’t pollute. It feeds.

Thanks, is it because the pellets will get lost in the tank and rot more than frozen because it’s compressed and the frozen is more loose? I always thought pellets where less Polluting but when you think about there is more matter in a little compressed pellet. I am just asking to avoid any issues way before They happen but I like feeding my fish and LPS. I think the reef roids I use for my goni’s and SPS even at 1/4 strength is prob worse than both. You get to a point on a reef tank where it’s kinda on cruise control and miss doing stuff so feeding kinda helps fill that gap. I don’t ever go crazy though I give just enough to be eaten quickly but some always gets left behind.

You can come over and feed my acans anytime ;)

Pellets have a much higher nutrient content for their weight than frozen does, by a long shot. Uneaten pellets would release more nutrients into your system than uneaten frozen would.

+1

I’n addition, pellets either float or sink which means they aren’t in the water column as long as frozen foods. The longer the food is in the water column the greater chance something will eat it.

I feed both pellets and frozen foods but I always slightly under feed pellets and if I overfeed it’s with frozen foods because it’s less nutrients per unit if it goes uneaten.
