I'd cry with happiness! I have the skeleton of a dead plate that I'm still hoping might regenerate. If you had a plate coral and it started sprouting smaller baby plate corals what would you do with all the babies?

I was asking like a party question "If you followed a rainbow and at the end it led to your fish tank and a bunch of gold plate corals what would you do?"Are you asking what to do to get them to survive or what to do with them to get rid of them?
You should pick the last option because I can't add new choices. So playing along I would invest in marketing then saturate the market like this:Ah, if it's hypothetical, then I would be worried it would end up like the prolific porcilipora that drops clones everywhere in the tank.
Before you know it you have a tank full of the exact same plating coral... people will avoid it like the plague and the only people that will buy it is unsuspecting hobbyists and LFS owners.
If my scenario is to be considered, then a couple more boxes need to be added.
□ Nuke it from space
□ Start a grass roots campaign to warn others of the dangers.
Just put it to the side in the tank with a little indirect flow, and give it a month or two. I had two orange plates that were put at opposite sides of the tank under the same par (verified with par meter) and flow and one died out while the other is thriving. I put the “dead one to the side in the tank and didn’t think about it. 2 months later I start seeing flecks of orange on the dead plate skeleton. It’s slowly growing but the flecks are slowly getting bigger, so I believe I have 5 babies on the way.I'd cry with happiness!
