What would you do? Online coral shopping

What would you do in a situation where you bought multiple corals from an online vendor and 1 of the coral is either bleaching/flesh coming off/brown on the first day you put in your tank.

Would you tell the vendor or just keep it to yourself?

Everything else you bought is doing well and healthy.

It depends on vendor policies.
Where I buy my most of my corals they have 14 days guarantee. If its anything like that I'll contact them. If the corals come in colored up polyps extended( I mostly buy sps) and then die a few days later I usually keep it to myself.

I may let the vendor know in case it has any issues it wants to address. Otherwise, it depends on the coral. Some are terrible shippers. Also, the vendor may have a guarantee too. Always worth a contact if it is literally within 12 hours or so and all others are good.

If it comes in like that, I typically mention something. If it happens a couple to a few days later, I keep it to myself.
