What would you do with an old wet/dry filter?

A friend from out of town dropped by a month or so ago and gave me some of his reef equipment that hadn't been used in about 20 years. Part of this was an old wet/dry filter. It's acrylic, and while dirty appears to be in pretty good shape. I already have a sump and don't really need it as a filter. Anyone have ideas of what I could repurpose it as? I'd rather not get rid of it if I can find a use for it.

That's a good idea! Alas I already have a 44 gallon Rubbermaid trash can for ATO

I'm not sure I could modify it enough to work with that. It's basically an acrylic box with lots of openings. I'll have to think about this some more as a diatom filter would really polish the water nicely.
