What would you do?

I got an Apex controller for fishmas! Now is the time to up grade other stuff. Wave makers is first. I have Radion lights so mp’s are an easy choice. I have a 60 cube and want to use one wave maker on opposing walls. MP10s would probably be ok if I had two.... but gah-leeee.... so bloody expensive! And... I have a friend that has some and after a year, the dry side won’t stay on the tank. It falls off constantly. Tunze 6105s would be nice, I’d only have to get one cable to make them work with apex... and I’ve always like Tunze. The other choice is the Neptune Wav’s. They are relatively new, so I’m not sure about them.

I really don’t want to throw away any more money on crappy pumps. Please help! I have an Icecap 1k that I’m keeping. It’s on the back wall pointed to the bottom/back of the rocks. Opinions?

I've never had an issue with Vortechs, this is my 3rd tank running them. On my current tank I run a pair of Gyre 230's and an MP40.

If your friends dry side keeps falling off, it could mean he doesn't have the magnet setup correctly for his glass thickness.
