What wrasse can I add?

I would love to have a harem of wifes... i mean wrasses.
Ooo, careful what you wish for.

This is a helpful discussion (not the harem of wives part). I have a replacement shipment coming from Dr. Reef for my M. bipartitis blue star leopard wrasse, and we are trialing 2 fish shipped in different bags. So @SaltyT @i cant think if both were to survive, the best move is to rehome one of them rather than add both to my 3' tank?

OP @Sleepingtiger H. iridis looks amazing in the photos and they say photos don't do them justice. Maybe worth trying with a reliable shipper?

Here is what I am thinking for my list. Of those, what can I keep together? There are three I really like and want to keep.

lubbocki
yellow coris
naokoae - Must have!
Orange back (aurantidorsalis)
rubrisquamis
exquisitus
cyanogularis - Must have!
scrottorum - Must have!
All the must have are beautiful fish but are aggressive. I don’t have to Scottorum but keep the other two must have above.

Iridis is not a reliable shipper. They are on the delicate side but so beautiful.

I have both also, but this one is the more beautiful of the two IMO. I would advise against put them together in smaller tanks. They tolerate each other in my tank but would Imagin it would be endless war in smaller tank.

Here is a list my guy got me

Blue throat fairy
Mccoskers flasher
Blue head fairy
Exquisite fairy
Yellow coris
Red velvet fairy

Which 4 would you choose to go into your tank?

If it were me, I would choose the most peaceful wrasses on the list so it would be: McCoskers, Exquisite, and yellow coris.

The blue throat, blue head, and red velvet are aggressive fairy wrasses. Unless you have a very large tank, I would not recommend mixing these 3 together.

I have a 160g. Is that big enough?

Planning on getting a 250g when my angels are around 5”

Your 160g is 6 foot in length, correct? Should be okay for a while. The 250g will be better long term. The more territory there is between them, the better the chance of them escaping each other’s wrath.
