What wrong?

Hey everyone tank is about 6 months old and I have a few corals that are slowly receding and losing color. What could be the problem? I have a few spots of coralline growing, and tank was completely started with dry rock. Temp sits at 78.5-79 degrees and salinity is 1.025. It is also a nano.
Low mag????

Show us some pictures of your tank, preferable under white light!

Your magnesium is a bit low and your phosphates are quite high. What are you doing with lights, flow etc- and how stabile are your parameters? Stability is key, so if they fluctuate you could have an issue.

Could be your source water, the salt you're using or something completely different.

Are you dosing anything? If so, what?

Not dosing just water changes to replenish and
Use G6 xr15. Salt is Red Sea coral pro (black bucket) and water is from LFS. And have a Nero 3 for flow.

Light starting to ramp down so everything is somewhat closing.

Have you tested the water you get from your LSF? They might sell fish and coral- but the water could be off..

An XR15 G6 is a powerful light, are you blasting your coral with too high intensity?

Only running schedule intensity at 25%.
Have not ICP tested the LFS water or anything but I assume it is ok considering that they have some stunning display tanks.

The corals you have need nitrates to be higher. They are starving. Phos at 0.11 is fine but you want nitrates 10 or higher. (General guide is 100:1 ratio nitrate to phosphate)

The only thing that I do add to the tank is Red Sea AB+ manually. I’ve read a variety of thing regarding weather or not if it raises nitrates. Should I maybe add a little more per dose?

6 months in is a great time to run an ATI or send out any branded test of your choice otherwise there are too many variables in my opinion. I agree that your nitrates could be higher. Brightwell neonitro would be my move for that until you have some natural nitrates building up. Another thing to consider is stability. Small tanks are tough to keep stable in some cases unless you are regularly dosing/checking. Alkalinity for instance would be something I would look at. I have a fairly small system as well and it wasn't until I setup some auto dosing and testing that it became very stable.
