I have a 29G Biocube I was thinking about making a 10g Sump for it and keeping the back the way it is now and just running the plumbing through the cord opens in the back. Was thinking about using Flex tubing and just go from there upgrade my return pump to a higher GPH and adding a Different return Nozzle. Only thing I don't know is my question for you guys How would I get the water to flow into the sump from the tank.

The return pump will draw the water from your tank passing it through your sump while at the same time putting it back.

Does anyone know if you can create a sump in the Back of the Biocube? Or should I just do a under the tank 10g Sump?

to put a sump underneath you would have to drill a hole near the bottom in the last chamber of the tank. that hole would be your drain to your sump. then you would plumb the return from the sump to the existing return on the bio cube. the water will reach the last chamber at a lower level then factory per say. you can find some youtube videos on it. google biocube sump. hope this helps a little. adding a sump would be a nice way to add water volume and possible filtration ect
