I just got my first zoas from a local fish store and I’m not sure what kind they are? Does any one have an idea?

Maybe silly question, but did you ask fish store where you bought it? Typically someone would know, even if you had to ask a manager

Also, seeing a fair bit of algae on that plug, so wondering your dip/QT process. This is helpful video I recently came across as I'm improving my processes after outbreak that got into my tank from store(s):

I didn’t dip or qt them. I didn’t know because they were my first corals

Fingers crossed - but if you can lay your hands on hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush, pull out that plug and scrub plug (don't get any hydrogen peroxide on coral)

I usually just dip my zoas in half hydrogen peroxide half water for about 5 min, then a coral rx dip for 5 min, then bayers 5 min. Maybe overkill, but even just a hydrogen peroxide dip wont hurt

no, I don't think you are overkill as someone else in forum has red bugs :( Bayers takes care of those...

My new dip process is hydrogen peroxide, iodine then coral Rx... but thinking you are right and I need a 4 step process adding in Bayers as I'll go insane if those bugs ever get into my display tank
