I found this bristley stuff under one of my rocks. Does anyone know what it is and if i should get rid of it?

Snail eggs from the snail on it. Good if you want more of whatever that is. It looks like a whelk, though, and a lot of those are carnivorous.

It might be a whelk. I got it from a trip to florida. I was afraid it might be carnivorus so i kept it in my sump for like 2 months. It surbived so i figure it doesnt neeed meat.

Scrape out and dispose of the eggs, then.

Invertebrates can go a long time without starving. There are also many organisms that don't necessarily need meat to not die, but will eat it if they can get it. Keep an eye on how that behaves around your corals.
