So I have a Waterbox 130.4, and am trying to round out my fish list. I am trying to put 1 fish of every color in my tank, but I'm having trouble finding something green that will work in my tank. The only Green fish I've found that I like are wrasses such as a richmond's wrasse, but from what I know they need a deep sand bed to hide (2-3 inches). I wen't with a shallow sand bed (less than 1") so I don't think they will be happy in my tank. I also will be putting a red headed solon fairy wrasse and a Ruby longfin fairy wrasse (which don't need as deep of a bed) so I think I have my wrasses covered. Does anyone have any recommendations on a mostly green colored fish that would work in my tank? Must be LPS and invert friendly...

Green Clown Goby
Green chromis
Green mandarin (captive bred, so it will actually eat prepared foods an not just pods)
And then like you said, several types of wrasses

How about a chromis? They're simple, cheap and I think rather a great addition to any reef tank. Don't over think these things
I already have 3 green reef Chromis. They are great, but they look more blue than green. Especially under my lights. I'm looking for something with a vibrant green color.

Sunset wrasse
Green bird wrasse
Sm parrotfish
Below- lime green wrasse

Well that might have been helpful information at the outset, or did I miss something?

No you didn't miss anything. That was my bad. It's a new tank I have 3 chromis and a small CUC. Tank is about a month and a half old. Here's my fish list so far. This would have probably been more helpful at the beginning.. LOL

Green Reef Chromis x3
Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse
Black Combtooth Blenny
Ruby Longfin Fairy Wrasse
One Spot FoxFace
Clownfish x2
Yellow Eyed Kole Tang/Tomini Tang
Coral Beauty
long nose Hawk

I vote on the clown goby. Might wanna get 2 though so you see him more often in a tank that big! Mandarin would be good, especially since your tank can definitely support one with pods and food bits.

Haha now we're talking. I didn't mean to sound like a d(1)ck, but details matter and I guess I'm I detail guy. Ok, it's late but I will look this list over and give it some thought! I'm starting out too and getting a fish plan together that meets your preferences is a nightmare! I'm still figuring this out myself.

If you’re looking for a black fish... black tang :). Some gem tangs are very black (at least to me) as well. There are midnight angels (not sure about reef compatability) and ther are midnight clowns. A midnight and a naked paired would be a nice orange and black duo!

The only other color I don't have is Pink, but I will most likely cover that with a shrimp and some anthias

OP posts for green fish and you suggest black fish... Ok then!

Yesssss. My black fish to start will be a black combtooth blenny. I love the midnight Angle, but if I do put an angle in my tank I think I want something with a little more color. I also really like the midnight clown idea. I think I will start with some sort of standard orange percula clown, but if bad things happen and they don't make it the midnight clown will definitive be my backup.
