I'm trying to find a nice plating acro. If that's even the right name for them. Ive seen some nice colonies in members tanks, but now that I'm trying to look for one, I can't find any. Only frags. One with good color and growth. Thanks.

Tabling Acros? ORA Red Planet would be at the top of my list. I'm a fan of Efflos also. The $500 efflo would be nice.

Thanks. Does the efflo still cost $500. Haha. Don't really see it for sale anywhere.

Any Acropora Hyacinthus species, Acropora Efflos, Acropora Soliteryensis and Acropora Granulosa's look nice as they branch out as tables.

Nope! It's cheaper now! Lol

I don't see it for sale often but everynowandthen I see frags for sale from hobbyist. I don't see many vendors with it but I'm sure someone out there has a frag.

I've seen A. sarmentosa and A. listeri as well.

I have Rocky mountain frags [h=2]Raspberry Limeade Hyacinthus[/h]
It grows super fast, I love it lots...:)

I just received a frag of reef raft bonsai efflo, can't wait to see it grow out! Was looking for a cool plating acro also, when I came across this piece, I had to have it!

I thought it got the name $500 dollar Efflo because it was in a QT with $500 worth of other corals and that was the only one that made it. Making it worth $500 to the original owner. It ended up becoming a nice color variant so the name stuck.
