Our tank is currently winning. We had a conversation about putting the 47 inch in the bedroom and getting one of the new incurved TV's that's what led to the question LOL

If your tv is bigger than your tank your doing it wrong .

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, we are in a rented condo so I am not going to strengthen the floor and I don't trust the floor to hold much more than my 75g. tank.

When we buy a house, there will be a HUGE tank somewhere in it. I'm hoping for over 400g.

its hard to compare...
TV's are measured Diagonally mine is 65"
Tank is 72" across... different measurements though....

Tank is 72" across and the living room TV is 130" diagonal (front projector setup).

Our tiny 210gal is no match for the TV lol

9ft ceilings to help with scale

Looks like my tank is winning for now. If we down size the house and get concrete slab foundation the TV is going to be out of the contest.

Would it not be cheaper to get glasses:tongue:

You'd really be surprised at how cheap these are these days...

You "can" spend way more (although your quality return isn't worth it unless you have a dedicated theater room or complete light control) but here's about what it cost me:

1080p BenQ projector $650
130" screen $120

Total: $770

What's a 1080p 240hz 60" led flat-screen from best buy go for these days? $1-2k?
