Over my last 2 water changes, I've noticed that I'm having a lot of cloudiness in my tank water. I've attached a picture for reference. I've not had this problem before, or if I did it cleared up after 24 hours. I did a ~40% water change last Wednesday, which it's now Sunday and it's not gotten better. I decided to check my parameters today and nothing to me is really standing out significantly but maybe I'm missing something. The only thing that's difference is I switched from red sea salt to Frittz reef pro mix (blue box).

Tank Details
Aqueon 29gal tank
HOB Seachem filter
Noopsyche K7v3 light

Params
Salinity: 1.025
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 1.3
Alkalinity: 8.4
Phosphate: 0.03
Calcium: 455

I don't have a magnesium tester, so that's one thing I can't check.

Can you think of anything that's causing this that hasn't dissipated after 24-48 hours?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Might be a bacterial bloom. Uv will clear it if so
So I was having some issues getting my nitrates and phosphates back after I had to pull out my fish to treat them for ick. They were out of the tank for about 90 days, and I had turned off my protein skimmer after I put them back in in an attempt to try to let those numbers build back up to a manageable level as I was starting to see some dinos. I've gotten those fixed and decided to turn my protein skimmer back on.. I wonder if that did it. The skimmer has been off for about a month and I don't think I cleaned out the water reservoir as it's a HOB skimmer.

Sadly I don't have a UV light. Will it just go down with regular water changes then?

No water changes only enhances the problem. They reproduce faster than you can get rid of them.

That makes sense - I'm not sure what I did to get rid of the dinos - but they're gone now.
Some activated carbon will help in the mean time
Okay awesome - that's actually something I have on hand. I'll give that a try!

Thanks so much everyone!

Ignore the salt water on the glass - but I ordered a HOB filter with a UV light, and after 3 days it looks like this! That mixed with a yellow headed goby, all my algae is gone on my sand, and my tank is cleared up.

Thank you so much for your recommendations!
