What's Deepwater?

Err...so were you just making things up with no interest in actually helping the thread? Could you perhaps save that sort of stuff for the lounge or something? I was looking for actual answers.

Honestly, did you see where the information was coming from?

The new Christmas Island Trigger was collected at 390 feet.

It says in this article that "Whereas conventional scuba is rarely used by scientists below 150 feet, and almost never below 200 feet, the rich and complex coral-reef environment with their associated diverse communities of life extend down to at least 500 feet in places. Most deep-sea submersibles, designed to withstand thousands of feet of pressure, come with a hefty price tag (upwards of $20-30,000 per day, or more), and have consequently been used almost entirely for exploration at depths much greater than 500 feet. Thus, the deep coral reefs between 200 and 500 feet throughout the world’s tropical seas – an area sometimes referred to as the coral-reef “twilight zone” – remains almost completely unexplored."

Wow, great article-thanks! Article refers to possibly not finding "deepwater" but not what depth that was. Seemingly though it was roughly the 300ft depth or so. 100m? Again I say wow.

Wow dude, sense of humor.. have one please thx.

watching Tosh.0....

But seriously, isn't that what the lounge is for? I mean there's a sense of humour and misinformation, right? Or can you recommend a better way to ask for information than here on R2R?

It was sense of humor, anyone who knows how to use Google would know right away... I mean come on, if you really want to talk about there are several threads about the subject already.
