Is it easier to recover from STN from the base or STN from the top down, after you find the problem?

I would most certainly say from the bottom as there is a lot of energy going into the growth tips and usually can clip/cut off undamaged tips and re-frag, Iodine or Mela-Fix dip then back into DT or Frag Tank with greater success.

Cheers, Todd

My vote is STN from the top down since it's less flesh to cover and corals naturally want to go up. Just my thought... Let's see what the pro's think.

Im not talking fragging and reglueing. Im talking for the colony or frag you already have recovering

Bottom up usually resulted from nutrients deficiency. Easier to fix
