Im just wondering what does every one dips there new arrivals (coral) in and what ther procedor is, Also along with telling what it it rate how good you think it is.

All my new corals get dipped in Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure and some get treated with Interceptor if needed.

I dip everything with Revive. All new frags get a different mixture depending on what they are.
Flatworm exit, revive, interceptor, and lugols are on hand and used for different pieces. Everything goes through QT prior to the display as well.
Its a pain, but worth it to me.

This is good stuff. Does anyone know where someone has posted documentation concerning which treatment for which corals, etc.?

Thanks

Lugol's

I do the above for all corals

Thanks. I'd been reading about Lugol's, and used it to dip a new Echinophyllia frag, but read somewhere that zoanthids wouldn't put up with it. So I will acquire the two recommended treatments. Do you advise abandoning the use of Lugol's or does it have some application here?

Lugols is like Pro Coral Cure. I believe they are both Iodine based...

You beat me to it! It has its applications and should still be a part of your tool kit.A nice chart or graph showing the different pests and the variuos medications used to treat them would be nice. Anyone have lots of time on their hands?

i use tmpcc and revive. i dont QT although i think it would be best. sometimes im too excited to get the corals in my tank!

Softies/Zoas - Hydrogen Perozide then Iodine then Fresh Water, one right after the other.
LPS - Iodine
SPS - Tech-D
