Whats everybody using to light their fuge?

I use the Kessil H 160. Works really well - I tried several others prior and this one is the best by far as you can control intensity and spectrum. It grows Chaeto very well. I can try and post a picture later today.

I use an AI Prime Fuge LED. All channels pumped up to 100%. Brought my NO3 down from about 32-64ppm range after I cycled to 1.5ppm range from 2/7-2/21. Here are a couple pics. 2/7 is the small ball of chaeto, 2/11 is the entire sump pic, and 2/21 is the large ball of chaeto pic. Fairly recent post-cycle but allows me to feed everyone heavily and my NO3 is around 4ppm and PO4 around .015ppm. Pretty happy with the light for this fuge which is 15x14” ish.

I use the Neptune GRO, very bright, better than the old shop light I used and the Tunze I replaced it with.

I use a basic clip on light with a standard soft white 60w equivalent LED bulb. Grows my Cheato just fine and is inexpensive.

I use grow lights from Lowes. I have one over my display sump for my 180 and also in my mangrove/macro lagoon. The lagoon is pretty much my fuge for my 7' nem tank.

I had it laying around from my indoor Basil/microgreens garden. I'm just lucky its white. It already took a few swims in the refugium but its going strong!

For a couple decades I used a clamp-on ( home depot ) fixture and a spot light bulb in the 5k color range. Went to led spot bulbs when they got cheap.
This worked awesome, but recently decided to try something different. On my larger refugium I got a AI Fuge light and on my smaller refugium I went with a Reef Breeders fuge light.
Both seem to be holding up well. Chaeto growth has been great.

I hate pink grow lights, so I use a regular AI prime. Grows macro at bonkers rate, and the light spectrum is much more visually appealing.

This light is great. 50 watts of awesome (the 100watts it mentions is deceptive marketing). It does get hot to the touch, but I’ve had for a year and half now with no problems running 12 hours per night.

I use the same light as well. It grows chaeto like crazy. I remove a kitchen garbage full of chaeto every 3 weeks. You're spot on about the wattage; apex says the light is currently pulling 51W, not 100W.

I currently use the stock light to the fluval evo. I used an AI prime 16hd till the power supply failed.

i've been using my ai prime fuge for a year. grows chaeto like a champ. personally regret getting such an expensive light when way cheaper options are out there..
