This video perfect and yes dino. If you have time - you will win the battle.
Prepare by starting by blowing this stuff loose with a turkey baster and siphon up loose particles. Turn lights off (at least white and run blue at 10-15% IF you have light dependant corals) for 5 days and at night dose 1ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for all 5 nights. If you dont have light dependent coral- turn all lights off. During the day dose 1ml of liquid bacteria (such as micro bacter 7 or XLM) per 10 gallons. Clean filters daily and DO NOT FEED CORAL FOODS OR ADD NOPOX
You can fish fish as normal and if blackout, ambient light in room will work for them

Yes there toxic get a microscope look at them to see what kind u have…

Yes chemiclean will wipe it out. Turkey baster and blow off all cyano from rocks and then suction it off during water change. Scrape your back wall clean and suction it out during water change. Suction your sand bed clean during water change. After that refil your tank. Add chemiclean for the appropriate dose and it will disappear. And then wait a day or two and do one last waterchange. And boom there you go. Don’t worry about bacteria. Your not gonna develop some sort of Superman bacteria as talked about earlier.

Don’t go and buy 500$ in crap you don’t need. Think simple. Water change and deep clean with a chemiclean dose will be just fine.

if you got Dino’s then clean the tank and get turbo snails. They do work on Dino’s.

I’m about 98% sure this is cyano

your gonna get 20 explanations on how to do stuff.. just start simple and do research before blowing a hole in your pocket

Green is cyano- other is not and for cyano, chemi clean is an alternative and not a solution. As with dino, cyano also photosynthetic.
With cyano, you will have elevated phos and nitrate whereas with dino you will have Low to no Po4 and No3 in which you are in that range.
The dino recipe will also address cyano

I am leaning towards conclusion that you have Dino.
Some here advocates water changes, but if you do some research, that is not a recommended thing to do as it may dilute nutrients and Dinos will spread more.
Vacuum Dinos from sand and rocks to filter sock and reuse water.
There is plenty of guides how to fight Dinos, ( blackouts, UV lights, Hydrogen peroxide, skimming, etc.).
Forget about correcting chemical parameters or changing to different salt now. Your chemistry is fine.

Dinos have low level toxins and is capable of affecting inverts

Cyano bacteria can look like dino's. if its dark and green it can look exactly like dinos. there is a excellent video BRS put out and it talks about cyanobacteria and how people can mistake it for Dino's
