What's going on with my gsp

Does anyone know what this is on my gsp Frag?
Is seems like some kind of fungus or something growing on it. I know the picture isn't great but it's white and kinda puffy.
It doesn't seem to be spreading or if it is its moving very slowly. Didn't know if I should be worried.

Should i do anything about it. I don't wanna lose the gsp

Being that the GSP are on the glass you might want to get a razor blade or an exacto knife and cut that part off. This should be fairly easy to do.

Take putty and cover it with so it can't take in water.

I'd say the same but my fear would be is that if a few pieces break off, it could propagate elsewhere

It's actually on a plug which is glued to the glass.. So not as easy to do

I actually did scrape some pieces off trying to figure out what it was and those pieces did end up in the tank so now I have this to worry about
But I will try the putty trick

Just remove the plug from the glass, cut off the growth and then glue it back on. Piece of cake.
