sorry, but that sea star is on its way out. might want to think about removing it before it pollutes the tank.

Did you acclimated slowly from his tank to yours? Were the parameters very different?

What are your Parameter numbers?

Serpent starfish are one of the last things to die in a tank crash.
They are pretty tough.
But that really doesn't look good.

Could it have found an impeller or been in the wrong place at the wrong time when you dosed something?

Yeah.. I have 2 powerheads for circulation. Water salinity is at 1.026
Nitrates almost 0
Phos almost 0
Using reef energy a+b also using nopox.
Temp is at 79-80f
Rest of tank is great.. Nobody has a problem. So it's not crashing I know that. Starfish has been in my tank over a year now when it was given to me so it's not acclimation. Could it be one of the starfish diseases where it ties itsself in knots? Nothing new has been added to the tank in over 4 months.
Tanks size is 250 with full wet/dry sump and Bubble Magus Curve 7 skimmer.

I was referring to our tank crash.

Sorry if that wasn't clear.

What other fish, inverts do you have in the tank?

Pistol shrimp?

Really drawing a blank so far.

Any changes in condition?
