Whats going on with this torch

Yesterday I noticed this “thing” on the side of my torch. Im new to this. Is it a new head growing or something is attached to it?

Is it hard or soft. Looks like could be flatworm or skeleton of where they fragged it.

Its hard. I tried to pull it off and its not going feel like its the part of the torch. I have this torch since November and i think the cut was more on the side. I just dipped it in CoralRx and nothing came out

So i thin was 2 clams. Opened both and i scraped them off and will dip it again.
Thise black dots were not on the coral yesterday

Cleaned up nicely. With no damage to coral

I opened it with a razor blade and cleaned the inside and slowly was able to pull off the whole “clam”. I actually found another one on my other torch and did the same process.
