The bubble tip anemone has been happy in the back of one of our rocks for a week or so now. I look in today and see this... A chunk of something and him moving around all weird... Not sure if this is normal or not, or what that chunk is???

What else do you have in the tank?

What are your parameters?

two clownfish, fire angel, sailfin tang, blue tang, fox face, clean up crew, red/white shrimp.

All test levels came back normal just last night.

Oceanrevive lighting... set ch1 70, ch2 18

We did have small gramma die a few weeks ago that we were unable to locate.

Do you see the shrimp? Could be the shrimp or it may have molted.
Yes, the shrimp is moving around. I guess I can scoop it out and examine it. Just didn't know it was something to do with the anemone moving around and looking weird.

Looks like a carcass of some sort and should be removed . When removed, I hate to say this but examine for flesh and possible smell.

I didn't smell anything. It was all white with a little bit of red. It was sticky/tacky almost like snail. I saved it in ziplock for my husband to check out too. I was more worried if something was going on with the anemone.

could that be your nem? When nems melt, they look like that but you would usually smell a funk.
