What's going wrong? Coral Beauty culprit?

Ok so approximately 2 months ago I upgraded my lighting (to Kessils) and bought a Coral Beauty. Since then I've noticed all of my Xenia dieing, my pipe organ staying completely closed up, some mushrooms not opening, and I've had several fish die... actually all except my Blenny and my clown fish. I thought the coral problem was an adjustment to the lights but after my bicolor died last week, I've noticed the coral beauty constantly picking at certain corals. Of course I can't catch him to quarantine. So what are the chances he is the problem??

I would not put it past any angel fish to be causing the issues that you are saying. I had a lemon peel that devoured corals, mostly chalices and zoas. In its new home, it became known as the fish killer as well. The only real way to know for sure if it is the source of your problems is to remove it. I would try to make a fish trap and catch it. Thank you for the eye opening information. I've always read they are reef safe but I guess the 'few bad apples in every bushel' saying fits here for sure.
There's definitely nothing worse than trying to catch a murderer outa the tank. Somehow they're the stealthiest of all. Thanks for the luck. I will need it. LoL

They will definitely nip at corals. On this lighting upgrade, what were you running before and what intensity do you have your Kessil's adjusted to?
