What's growing on my clove polyps.

Hey I'm new to reefing and need some help. How can I get rid of whatever this is on my clove polyps. A while ago I hit them with a turkey baster and it came off pretty easily but I tried again and it's not budging. Any thoughts? I do have other corals in the tank and they're all fine. The tank has been running for 4 months now

Maybe briopsis? Hard to tell. Can you remove the frag and spot treat the tuft with peroxide?

I absolutely can, do I need to dilute the peroxide? Or just use the 3% and dab it on the stalks?

That’s what I would try. Load a syringe with the peroxide and try and hit the algae. Let it sit for a couple min > rinse and place back in tank. Some degree of risk to shrimp if not rinsed well.

Okay I'll make sure to rinse it real good. What am I looking for after I do the peroxide? Will it just go away or what?

it basically turns clear and is either finally eaten or wasted away.

Manual removal can help too before you peroxide use oxide.
