Whats growing on my zoas

Got this zoa frag off a live sale last week and now im noticing little white hairs all over the polyps is it hydroid or zoa pox or something else? Any help is appreciated!

They do look like a type of hydroid usually found on sps...might brush off .

check out my thread on the EXACT same thing I got. long story short, I'd throw that frag out as nothing I tried worked, only when I cut out the original patient 0 fart did the madness stop.

Bummer ill throw it in my 10 gallon i was preparing to break down and see if it gets better so far non of my other corals are showing signs of it

Did you Bayer or Coral RX dip and scrub it with a toothbrush when you received it? If not, might be worth a try....

yea it seems to be very contagious on any newer and stressed frags. killed my utter chaos eventually.

Frag looked completely normal when I got it. Coral rxed it and shot water over it with a pipet I think im going to let it chill for a couple days in my other tank so I dont stress them out more then dip again if it doesnt go away.
