I just moved one of my live rock and saw this growing underneath it. Does anyone know what it is? Tube snake?

Tube worms tend to be located under rocks, indicates a healthy system. We consider them good hitchhikers filtering water.

Thats what you get for lookin!

i have not dealt with them enough to know for sure but they could be vermitid snails, or some calcareous tube worm.

is the a mucousy cast that come oout from the opening on occasion?

If they are , bumble bee snails are known to eat them -

Thanks for your reply!
I don't know, I moved the rock to prevent my GSP to attach to the other rocks, thats why I happened to see it. It's been on the underside so I've not noticed it before.

I have a few bumblebees, added them because of (much smaller and dark) vermited snails.
