Its just acclimating to your tank... When I added my pink Goni to my tank it took almost a week to open.. Goni are temperamental coral, just give it some time and don't mess with it. If your params are good it will grow nicely.

It could be just acclimatising. but it’s worth posting a set of water parameters as well for us

Mine randomly started doing the same all parameters are within a good guideline. Havnt changed anything other than add some zoas. Opposite side of tank too.

Cheers mate appreciate the info

Yes only today. Never had an issue been in tank for 5 weeks now. Not sure why but will let it sit. Just a solid stone right now. All the polyps are in hiding

I have 9 gonis. Mine only do this if somethings out of whack with the water.. a big water change fixes it for me

So moved mine to the sand bed and already a change, before this it was nothing showing just a rock.

not sure on my phos levels but last time 2 weeks ago it was 0.03

So most polyps have extended out again still not 100% as what it used to be but think lowering it to the sand has definitely helped.. hope you have some luck or if this is an option for you?
