Not sure whats going on with this chalice. Ive had the mummy eye (green one) and link booobies and this blue one i forgot the name. For maybe 4 months now.. Theyre all sloww growing soecially the pink one but they did grow double in size. Almost.

But now my blue one is losing flesh so fast.. its 50% or more gone. I dunno what to do.

The only thing i did different was put the big rock theyre on. On the sand bed like 4 weeks ago. Seems it gets worse at night.. but i havent seen anything eating it. I moved it back up mid way in the tank 2 days ago off the ssnd. But its still progressing

Nothing stinging it that i can tell either.. all 3 chalices are the same species. All my other chalices in the tabk are doing fine. The hollywood stunner i just lut there today to get it outa the way it isnt the cause so ignore that. But its fine.

My other pinkish/purple chalice is fine too. And i got a new one near death a week ago and its recovering from the tabk it was in prior from that person.

So i dont get it. All my other 80+ corals are fine too. Extending fully. Have good color.. no issues i can tell.

Magnesium is 1330
Calcium is 420
Alk is 8-9

Temp is 79f, salinity is 1.0264-1.027.

I dose alk daily, i did start dosing seachem powdered calcium and powdered alk as the store didnt have the seachem part 1 and 2 liquid calcium.. could that be it ?? I dont think so lol because no one else is having issues.

I also dose idodine/iodide from fluval once a week 5ml.

And i dose kents marine products like cora vits, strontium and molybdenum, and kents essential elements. 15ml each bottle every 7 days. I dose because with so many corals i lose nutrients fast.. sps turn white after only 2 weeks and water changes are getting exoensive.. these dosing bottles from kent and fluval stopped the need of excessive water changes. From 100+ corals sucking everything up in a 135 gallon tank. I can go 2 months with no water change by dosing

But yea.. i dunno whats going on here.

This sucks too i paid 40$ for this chslice months ago and i hate seeing money fly away even if its just 40$ or 10$. What can i do to try to save it ?

Here are pics of it and all my chalices

Sorry to hear - Sounds like it could be tissue necrosis and could very well be the switch from power to liquid or the sudden change in light intensity. Could be flow related. Corals can have unique responses/reactions to things and definitely have varying sensitivities. Some corals can withstand varying levels of change while others cannot. Look up RTN (Rapid Tissue Necrosis) or STN (Slow Tissue Necrosis) and read a bit about it. Might help
