In my case...well there's been a lot of crazy issues throughout the tank build, but to start off,
the overflow box was glued on the smaller hole location. inflow is 1" and the outflow is 3/4".
That really got my feet tangled.
I placed ball velve and close it 3/4 of the way, if not, water would flood over the tank.

Well....there's sooooooooooo many things that I made mistakes, was more drama then fun actually

no im worried about actual flow in the tank not the supply pump. especially when i put sand in the tank.

im going to try 2 mp40s on the back wall, but im afraid of the sand storm or the vortex from the water surface. if that dont work ill more than likely have to come up with some CL with a funky return towards the front

Been busy with my "Chalice Domination" tank, and its finally running.
The thing is, I have lost some interest in chalices, and have been collecting corals that I like!

Chalice Domination!!! I like the name. You've got some real nice pieces. I looked through the entire thread and you have posted plenty of eye candy. Nicely done! Keep up the good work. I especially like the growth progression shots. Could you post some with dates?

Yes, taking pics of my collection have been another fun aspect of the hobby, and I enjoy helping people out in taking pics with camera's they already have before they get DSLR.
I willl keep record of the date I took the pics in the future, but I'm pritty sure you have the record in getting chalice grow crazy!!!
