While I wait for the summer heat to dissipate to set up my tank, I am doing a ton of research into how things are now done. I combed through QT threads for fish and have a pretty good understanding of what to do and what to use, two really good in depth threads covered the subject cover to cover (thanks).

But what is the GO TO medication for dipping corals and your QT process for new purchases.

Plus what are your must have medications to have on hand fish or coral!

20 some odd years ago we had copper to treat ICH, now I feel I need a medical license to insure nothing bad is going into my DT lol!!!

Sorry I didn't see this when you posted it and I'm glad you did because I had no idea what folks were talking about when they were referring to Bayer LOL
Is this something that I buy at Home Depot or is it an online purchase. I feel like I have seen this before. Also, do you dip every coral or just SPS?

On the first place is Antiparasitic preparation for coral baths. When buying corals, be sure.

Found 15ml per 1/2 cup of tank water, 10 minute dip and rinse.
Now do you QT the coral or can it go into your DT after rinse?

i go 1 tablespoon to cup tank water two dt water rinse,google or wait for more expert opinions,i also only use rinse 1 2x rinse 2 1x rinse bowl w tap,repeat also use caution gloves ,ventlation,eye protection

Thanks for your help. None of these techniques were available or used when I had my tank up.
I have learned so much over the last few months.
