What's more exciting to purchase??

Just got back from my LFS, super excited got some new test kits and cleaning supplies, wanted to make a thread on what's more exciting. Fish/corals? Or maintenance supplies??

Honestly I enjoy shopping for maintenance stuff more then actual fish and corals hah

Live stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maintenance is definitely not my favorite. I was just telling my self need to check alk but was procrastinating .
Now builds are way more fun. But it's the researching getting deals and learning new skills I like.

So
Live stock

Trading livestock
Building new apparatus/tank
Finding fish tank uses with everyday items.
Fragging
Maintenance
Spending money on maintenance items

Any one want to run some tests or scrape some glass for me ?

Looking at fish ...finding out what I want and what I can and cannot put in my tank,lol
Dreaming about what new LPS I can put in my tank is #1 though...

I love building new setups more than anything. The meticulous details and that each build is better than the previous from my experiences. So I get pretty excited from just buying wood, screws, etc.

You'd better learn to love shopping for maintenance stuff

. My tank is now over 3 years old, and there's been no room for new livestock of either coral or fish for the last 2 years or so. Unless I remove a coral or fish first.

I order my dry goods online. It's cheaper. XD

I love just going to the LFS....looking over the lovely offerings...whether I can get one or not. I also enjoy actually purchasing a particular gem, but it's always a mixture of excitement and nerves. XDD

I enjoy shopping for dry goods more because of the amount of work it takes to find the right species of fish, make sure its healthy and eating, and put then it through QT.
