Found a small reactor too. Per dang near all the reviews. It recommends to use this with phosban and run carbon in a hob filter or another reactor. May do all of it if feasable. I HATE HAIR ALGAE!
Macros are definitely the best way. However it takes a lot of them to be effective.Which is why I run a 30 gallon refugium on a 40-gallon tank. Gfo is a very effective as well. Just extra equipment And can be too effective if you're not careful.Just keep monitoring your nitrates and phosphates. Those are the main two contributors to Nuisance algae
Will do. Ill look into the macro. Lots more reaserch required here it seems. Since gfo is kinda finicky, would i have the same results running both carbon and phosban? Isnt that essentially what gfo is, but as one media?
I had one do the same thing a few weeks ago, turned out to be a limpet was stuck underneath and irritating it. Try looking underneath and see if anything is there bothering it
