What's on my Acan?!?!?

Hello all, so I've had this acan around 3-4 weeks now, and when I looked at it today, I saw this weird spine thing coming out of its side, what is it?? I attatched pictures at different zoom level for you all to see. Thank you! I hope it is not something bad!

Looks like a vermetid snail. They create some sort of calcified tunnel looking thing they hide in. You could try just snapping it off with your finger at the base, or possibly try some sort of coral dip to get it to come out on it's own.
