Whats on my live rock?

First reef tank. Used TBS for live rock and sand. After lots of Googling cant put my finger on exactly what is on the live rock. See pictures. I think the blue slime is possibly sponge, but really cant tell. Really cant find anything on the blue/ purple fuzzy stuff.

poriferan sponge, likely ciliated and best removed by placing rock in a container of tank water and pullig off with a dental pick (harbor freight tools) and discarding it. You can also inject via syringe with vinegar and it should shrink

Sponge die off, it will start peeling off soon and stink of death.

I think that bottom pic is sponge die off as well. When I had die off it would look just like that. Pick it up and smell it.

When in doubt, pull it out.

If it is just a small amount, it just adds to the cycle, but if you have corals in there I would remove it.

You can also turkey baste it. If you can't remove the rock. But preferably remove it.
