So he won't stay still for a picture so here is a quick video.

Oh his bottom right side right behind his pooper he has some growth. I think he got scared and wedged himself in the rocks an knicked himself being it just showed up one day. He's fairly new and has been treated with copper and prazipro

First of all definitely my favorite fish. I think you're right it looks like an infection caused by a cut. That is normal and usually no big deal. If it gets worse you could look into an antifungal but if he is staying active and eating I wouldn't worry. I hate to be the tang police but that tank looks pretty small for a naso how many gallons and how long is it?

Thanks for the response.
It seems like it is gether smaller so I think he'll be fine.

As far as the little tank, I'm just giving him time to fatten up and get comfortable before I throw him in the 300g with a Sailfin that is a bully... :)

Nice Im dreaming of a day when I have a large enough tank again.

Gorgeous fish. If I had a bigger place I'd love a tank big enough to have tangs.

He made it into general pop yesterday and is looking good. Sailfin is chasing him around a little here and there but he is holding his own.
