I noticed 2 of my palys have a white bump on them. They have been there a few days (may have been there when I got them and just noticed) and I can't figure out what it could be. It doesn't look like nudi eggs or pox to me and it doesn't seem to effect them in anyway. Any ideas guys?

There is a snails that look like white spots that can get on Zoas. Did you dip your corals?

Indeed I did. And they have stayed in the same exact place since I first saw them. I would imagine a snail to be a bit more mobile.

That's not snails. Look up zoa pox and see if the dots look like that. There's no other dots in your tank anywhere, is it? You don't have nerites? They have eggs that look similar to that. Other than eggs, pox is the only thing that jumps to mind.

If it is zoa pox it will look like a blister under the skin of the zoa or paly. I bet you can scrape them off. I think it is snail related, just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure it's not pox or eggs. I do have nerites, but these looks rounder then nerite eggs. And from what I understand pox is much rarer in palys, but it still doesn't look poxy to me lol.
